&. Her Story

( I ) Child of Kugane     ~The Takeyari clan was a warrior family once loyal to the Mitsurugi clan. Skilled in the spear, they commanded and trained spearmen for the Mitsurugi clan.
Yumari was not one to favor the Yari her family was known for however. She focused her efforts on helping those who could not defend themselves. She took to learn healing instead, but her family did not shun her for she was their only daughter and they embraced her efforts to help others.

( II ) Traitors     ~When Hingashi declared neutrality, her Father voiced his displeasure. Using this chance, another family planted fake evidence within her household and blame was put on the Takeyari clan for planning a coup. Her family was to be executed on the spot.
Her father and brothers fought to protect this child as she watched them be cut down one by one as they covered her retreat. Finally her mother hid her in a crate bound for the west. She could do nothing but cry as she watched her mother run with a decoy bundle of cloth in her arms towards another ship.

( III ) The Lost Petal     ~
Eventually the crate arrived in Eorzea. She snuck out to be greeted by an injured animal. Feeling sorry for the creature, she used what little knowledge she had to heal it and gave it what little food she had left. She never knew what was watching her though as she tried to figure out how to live her now lonely life.
She did her best to survive and surprisingly did well. She always seemed to find food, water, and safe passage through the forests she found herself in and grew up oblivious to her luck. She learned basic things from adventurers and magic from what she assumed was inside of her. But sometimes, she would catch glimpses of color from the corner of her eye. She never questioned her luck, but nevertheless, always thanked the forest for her blessings.

( IV ) Beginnings     ~She grew only to be unsatisfied with how she now lived. Determined, she readied herself to venture out into the unknown, but just as she was about to set off, she had wandered into a small clearing with a body. She said her prayers and buried the assumed woodwrath victim, but something caught her eye. A stone not far from where she found the adventurer. Caked in grime and hardened mud, but it seemed to grab her attention despite that. She took the stone and cleaned it only to reveal a strange symbol and the dull faded colors of the stone. She held onto it and now carries it with her as a charm.
She now ventures out to learn of the surrounding land and maybe one day, the fate of her family.

( V ) Updates    
The Lost Petal
Yumari finally gains the resolve to return to Kugane. This has her relying on a few trusted souls to assist her along the way and with their assistance, Yumari was able to discover the identity of the bounty giver.
The Lost Sage
The soulstone she discovered on the corpse in the Twelveswood has reacted. Her mind splitting between the soul of an evil sage and herself.
With the help of an Archon and her teacher, Yumari was able to learn to truth of Nimie and seal her away for now. Though for how long is up to debate.

Yumari was a noble's child in Kugane. Maybe her family name sounds familiar. The Sekiseigumi may know the name from a once famous mentor. Other Interactions with her family maybe have had you meet her when she was a child, or perhaps even interacted with her!

( II ) The Bounty    
Her body was never found by the soldiers. Wanted flyers may pop up here and there with a sketch of her. Everything on the flyer from insurrection to rebellion leader, but all of them still say "Wanted" With a reward of 200 Million Koban.

Yumari is a healer first and foremost. Do you need healing, or someone you know does? Maybe you need a healer for your next job. She is always willing to help those in dire need. Perhaps even, Yumari has already helped you before and you wish to thank her.

Those with aether sensitivity or aether sight can see Yumari's nearly endless aether reserves. Her aether is pink and comes from the godlike fragment within her.

    Xochitl is a Xbr'aal from Tural. She acts as Yumari's mentor and was her introduction through the Adventurer's guild. Yumari looks up to her as idol of sorts.

    Miya is Yumari's direct teacher when it comes to learning the craft of a Sage. Her skills prove to be of great worth to Yumari and she also is a figure for her to confide in.

Exulansis "Ex" Kuebiko.
( The Mute Bard )
    A cool beauty of a Viera, she is assisting Yumari with her return to Kugane. She has a penchant to tease Yumari often, but Yumari finds herself comforted by her despite that.

Zilyana Tumet

    Zilyana is the dear friend and bodyguard of Yumari. Despite appearance, this Xaela hides a dark secret. Yumari finds comfort in her presence.

    Sister to Xochitl Canek, Oxomoco Canek is not to far behind with her snappy insults and ribald suggestions

    Girlfriend to Xochitl and overall a big brother figure to Yumari, this Smithy is quite skilled with a hammer and has a penchant for getting injured.
